Implementing employment services for individuals seeking to transition from welfare to work, addressing the needs of underserved youth and adults, underemployed and/or unemployed youth and adults. Our program is designed for job seekers with services that includes job skills training, job readiness and soft skills training, vocational training, job search activities, subsidized employment, employment counseling, job placement. Youth ages 19-24 who are out of both work and school. The Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP) prepares youth for career path jobs and/or higher education via job readiness training, career counseling and education, subsidized employment and job placement.
